Torea is a one-bedroom house rented through Airbnb in Rarotonga, Cook Islands. The property is located right on the beach, in one of the best spots on the island. It’s an excellent alternative overlooking the sea with all the comforts to make a good grilled fish and have cocktails on the beach.
INSTALLATIONS 
The house has a room with a double bed, a full kitchen, two complete bathrooms, a laundry room closed by a closet door, a large living room with ocean views and a deck. On the deck there is a table with four chairs and two armchairs for sunbathing. Inside, it has a round table with four chairs, another table that could function as a desk, a couch and several small support tables. The place also has a hairdryer, TV, DVD, radio, gas barbecue, blender, electric kettle and toaster. The kitchen has everything you need to cook: plates, roasters, bowls, glasses, grater, pots, pans and more. The accommodation has fans in all the rooms and all windows have mosquito nets. There are several sets of towels and linens. The house has a washing machine and wires to hang clothes under the roof, which is very useful when it rains.
DECORATION 
The decoration is neutral and pleasant.
LOCATION 
This accommodation is located in Muri, one of the best beaches on the Island together with Vaimanga. One block away there is a small shopping area with a mini supermarket and a wine house. Also very close there are several nice restaurants to go dinner, and hotels with spa service, if you want to schedule a good massage.
SERVICES 
In our case, we do not use it but if desired, there is a housekeeping service available. The garden maintenance is included, the grass and the plants are always perfect.
When you arrive at the accommodation, there is coffee, tea, sugar and various condiments. A very good welcome gesture that is also appreciated.
ATTENTION 
The host is always attentive to the guest’s needs to replace the carafe gas or whatever is needed.
PRICE 
The price is very good, excellent cost-benefit ratio.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE 
The experience of staying in Torea is very satisfactory. Living in front of the sea, having a wine or a cocktail in the deck, sunbathing on an almost private beach, is an absolute pleasure. At night, it’s beautiful to see the stars in this incredible Pacific region.
As a suggestion to the establishment, particularly in a pandemic context, the ideal texture to disinfect the surface of the couch would be synthetic leather. Over it, we would make washable grey covers. Another suggestion would be replacing the windows that face the sea with complete fixed panels. The windows made up of several sloping panels slightly affect the wonderful view of the Pacific. We would also add high stools to the bar area, which is beautiful but would lack that detail to be perfect.
